I’m currently working on a major new version of the datatool package. This may take a while. Please be patient. (Experimental version available for testing.)

Summary unintentional pagebreak using altlist

Description

In random cases there might be an unintentional page break between entry and description using 'altlist'

This is due to the \newline in glossary-list.sty line 67:

\item[\glsentryitem{##1}\glstarget{##1}{##2}]\mbox{}\newline
after asking google I found this: Avoid page break after \item-followed-by-newline describing the problem and a solution:
\item[\glsentryitem{##1}\glstarget{##1}{##2}]\mbox{}\par\nobreak\@afterheading

This solves the problem for me.

Thanks for the great package

Daniel
