Description

Hi,

If \nonfrenchspacing is in effect the amount of space inserted after the description terminator depends on whether the description ends with an upper-case or a lower-case letter.

So what do you think about defining \glspostdescription as

\newcommand*{\glspostdescription}{%
  \ifglsnopostdot\else.\spacefactor\sfcode`\. \fi
}
