Description

It would be nice if the user could give as input dates incomplete ones: either without any day or (see https://tex.stackexchange.com/q/563479/18401) without any year. The former would be useful e.g. for the date of a journal issues when only the month and the year are relevant.

Something like \DTMsavedate{mydate}{2021-05} could be internally changed into \DTMsavedate{mydate}{2021-05-01}
