Description
If you use the\pagestyle{ruled} command from memoir, it collides with something in glossaries and produces an extraneous line before the glossary that duplicates the title.
This stackexchange page has a workaround: How do I prevent duplicate Glossaries section title when redefining page styles in Memoir class?
I've attached an example that shows it (with the work-around commented out).
MWE
Download (358B)
\documentclass{memoir}
\usepackage[toc,nomain,acronym,nopostdot,nonumberlist]{glossaries}
\makeglossaries
\newacronym{ACK}{ACK}{acknowledge}
\begin{document}
\pagestyle{ruled}
%\renewcommand{\glossarymark}[1]{%
% \markboth{\memUChead{#1}}{\memUChead{#1}}%
%}
\glsaddall
\printglossary[title={Acronyms and Abbreviations},type=\acronymtype]
\end{document}Evaluation
This problem was fixed in version v3.13a, which renamed \glossarymark to \glsglossarymark to avoid conflict with memoir. Please update to the latest version of glossaries.
