Description
I stumbled upon a 'not working'\nopostdesc switch. In comp.text.tex The missing \protect was pointed out, but it was also suggested that the command is made robust, if possible.
(See thread there: "glossaries: \nopostdesc doesn't suppress description terminator" )
MWE
Download (386B)
\documentclass[%
fontsize=10pt,
]{scrartcl}
\usepackage[sanitize=none]{glossaries}
\makeglossaries
\newglossaryentry{sym:eta}{%
name={\protect\ensuremath{\eta}},
description={\nopostdesc},
sort=eta
}
\newglossaryentry{sym:eta1}{%
description={Text 1},
sort={1},
parent={sym:eta}
}
\listfiles
\begin{document}
1: \gls{sym:eta1}
\printglossary[style=long]
\end{document}
Evaluation
As from v3.05, \nopostdesc is now robust.
