glossaries package FAQ
There are sometimes problems with the supertabular environment, particularly when used in combination with other tabular-like packages. This is outside of the control of the glossaries package. Use the corresponding long style instead. Consider also using the nosuper package option to prevent the glossary-super package from being loaded.
Likewise, there are occasionally situations unsuitable to the longtable environment, particularly where the output routine is modified (such as with flowfram or multicol). In this case, try the corresponding super style instead. Consider also using the nolong package option to prevent the glossary-long package from being loaded.
If neither environment is able to work in a particular situation, consider one of the fixed width tree styles, such as tree* or alttree.
