B.18 Misplaced alignment tab character &

You have used the special character & where you shouldn't have. Recall from §4.3. Special Characters and Symbols that if you want an & sign to appear you need to do \& not just &.

You would have got this error message if you had done, say,

✘ & our equipment

instead of

✔ \& our equipment
