I don't think it would be possible to implement this in a general way, so I'm going to close this as "Can't Implement", but anyone interested in this can try the answer I gave on TeX.SX, which relies on using xindy.Update 2020-02-29: this is now possible with bib2gls and glossaries-extra.sty's record=nameref
option.
