## Report

The problem is detailed here: Glossaries' acronyms' suffix in effect are not for the last loaded language. I'm not sure it is worth to repeat it here

### MWE

\listfiles

\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage[french,ngerman,dutch,english]{babel}
\usepackage{glossaries}

\newacronym{gnu}{GNU}{GNU's Not Unix}

\end{document}

## Evaluation

(Updated.) Not a bug, see my answer on StackExchange.

OK, thanks. But too bad it is necessary to use glossaries-extra: all the xtr, Xtr, XTR, extra or Extra extra strings in the commands names it defines make these commands difficult to read, understand and remind.
